Hand delivered at Board meeting
I would like the following items placed on the agenda of the next meeting, so that the community can be fully informed of the actual facts concerning the budget shortfall, the savings from consolidation and what revenue can be converted from the bond to pay this short-fall.
Please provide the actual shortfall for the 2004-2005 year, including the source and amount of the reduced income, and the amount of the additional specific expenses.
The specific costs and savings by year and description based on the proposed plan to close the Red Rover campus, converting High Desert to Vasquez High, and relocating the High Desert students to Acton and Agua Dulce schools.
The amount from the bond proceeds that can be converted directly to pay the shortfall identified in item 1.
