Board of Education and Interim District Superintendent,
The Community Education Committee is requesting that Strategic Planning be included as a Discussion and Action item on the April 22, 2004 Board agenda.
It is our view that a strategic plan must encompass a 20-year window and include a needs assessment for the entire district and a master education plan. As we have stated previously, piece-meal budget cuts and crisis management is inappropriate and detrimental to the fiscal health of our district.
