7-26-04 Greetings.
Reminder: There is a meeting of the Surplus Property Committee this evening at 5p.m. at my office, 32248 Crown Valley Road. Attached you will find the revised report, with changes made based on your recommendations during the last meeting. [ not held as their was no quorum.]
I have consulted with our facilities consultant, and have been instructed that the specifics relative to the parking spots available if we used the Acton playground for parking would require an engineer and approximately $10,000 in incurred cost for a study. Therefore, I have simply stated in the report that parking is limited, and that the Board should exercise great caution not to lease to adult education classes in excess of available parking.
I believe I have made the changes that were supported by the group as a whole. [only 4 for the 11 committee members attended] Recognizing that there are those among us who are not in complete agreement with what the majority appears to believe, you are invited to submit dissenting opinions or additional thoughts. We can attach dissenting opinions and additional information for Board review.
It is my hope that we will wrap this up tonight. Please bring any additions you have to the report for tonight’s meeting.
