I, Linda Wagner, declare that I am the Petitioner herein and declare this Declaration is true and correct and, if sworn as a witness, could and would competently testify hereto.
I am the Superintendent for the Acton-Aqua Dulce Unified School District. I am seeking this Restraining Order based on the recommendation of a sheriff's deputy due to the continued verbal harassment of Trish Knechtli.
Mrs. Knechtli has been verbally aggressive with our employees at the school district as she has called our office multiple times during the day using profanity and speaking in an aggressive and demanding manner. This conduct has caused a number of the employees to suffer from great emotional distress in having to deal with Mrs. Knechtli. No employee should have to deal with the verbal abuse Mrs. Knechtli puts my employees through on almost a regular basis.
On June 30, 2004, Mrs. Knechtli called our office multiple times using profanity and speaking in a very aggressive manner to our receptionist, Paulette Buechner. After a brief conversation in which Mrs. Knechtli was told she would be charged a fee for the district to research an issue for her, Mrs. Knechtli said "Fuck You", and hung up on Ms. Buechner. Mrs. Knechtli later called back and complained to Ms. Buechner arguing again about the fee.
On or about the same day, another employee with the school district, Debbie Ginnetti, encountered Mrs. Knechtli on her way in to work. Mrs. Knechtli berated her and spoke in a manner that Ms. Ginnetti found to be very harassing. What alarms me is that Mrs. Ginnetti says that Mrs. Knechtli purposely tried to run into her.
After this incident with Mrs. Knechtli we called the sheriffs department and a deputy came out to investigate. We informed the deputy of what had occurred on that date and on previous occasions. The deputy recommended we tile a restraining order against Mrs. Knechtli. Therefore, we are now seeking this restraining order in an attempt, and in hopes, that our staff may be able to work in an environment where they no longer are the victims of such unnecessary harassment.
The sheriffs department is also currently investigating property damage to a number of our school busses. Mrs. Knechtli lives directly next door to our district office and one of our employees witnessed rocks being propelled from her property at our busses. We reported this to the sheriff's department and were informed by the deputies that they would not contact her because of her known temperament. A deputy said he would not go talk to Mrs. Knechtli "without an army" because "that lady's crazy". Apparently the deputy had prior dealings with Mrs. Knechtli.
Our school district has tried to accommodate Mrs. Knechtli over the years and provide her with information and assistance when requested by her. However, Mrs. Knechtli has always chosen to communicate in a manner that is harassing and is unacceptable. I am not attempting to stop all communications from Mrs. Knechtli to our school district. What I am requesting is that an order be made that any communication be by registered mail. I believe, and truly hope that this will relieve any future problems.

Executed this 19th day of July, 2004, at Lancaster, California.

Declaration of Linda Hayes
I, Linda Hayes, declare that I am an employee of Acton-Aqua Dulce Unified School District, and declare this Declaration is true and correct and, if sworn as a witness, could and would competently testify hereto.
I am the secretary for the Acton-Agua Dulce Unified School District. I have handled numerous calls from Mrs. Knechli. Almost every time I speak to this woman she is verbally abusive and profane and after listening to her I become upset. I do not believe anyone should have the right to speak to others like this on a regular basis. Below is a list of specific instances of harassment by Trish Knechli directed at myself:
1. Sometime in late April, 2001, Mrs. Kneckli called our district office and I answered the telephone. She demanded to know what our policy is on student expulsions and due process. I was in the middle of preparing the school board agenda as well as the payroll when she called. I told her that I could have the information for her the following week. She said it` wasn't good enough and demanded that I do it and have it be the end of the day. I told her it would be virtually impossible with everything else I was doing that day. she continued to argue with me n an abusive manner saying it wouldn't be that: hard for me to get the information. I informed her she was welcome to come into the office and go through the policy book, herself to find the information. However, she continued to demand that I get the information for her because she didn't have the time to come in. J. found the information for her the following week and Mrs. Knechtli never picked it up. This information is still in my office.
2. On June 21, 2004, I was in the district office with one of our auditors. The telephone rang and by the time I answered it, the answering machine had picked up.
3. On June 30, 2004, 1 arrived at the district office around 7:30 a.m I spoke to another secretary in the office, Paulette Buechner, who told me that she received several calls that morning from Trish Knechti. White she was discussing this with me, Mrs. Knecht called two more times and spoke with Paulette. During one conversation I heard Paulette tell Mrs. Knechthi that she didn't appreciate the previous call where Mrs. Knechtli used offensive language toward her. I told Paulette would take the next call from Mrs.. Knechli
The telephone rang again, and it was once again Mrs. Knechtli. Upon hearing my voice, Mrs. Knechtli told me to tell Paulette that when she yells at us, it: is not because she is mad as us, but mad at Linda Wagner (Superintendent) and the board. She told me that "Paulette needs to stay out of it." She then proceeded to berate me. She asked me for information about the education code and I informed her that. I did not know. She continued to ask me questions about different things which T didn't know the answer to and I informed her of this. She then started yelling at me saying "WHY DON'T YOU KNOW", and 'WHY DON'T YOU, GIVE ME AN ANSWER"'
I have found that no matter if I give her an answer to her questions or not, it always results in. her yelling at me. Or a number of occasions she has requested information from me and demanded to "HAVE IT NOW". I have found that when I tell her I will have the information for her by a certain date, she doesn't even bother to come in and pick it up.
On so many occasions I have become emotionally upset after having to deal with Mrs. Knechtli. No person should have to go through this type of harassment and I wish it would stop.

Most recently while I was walking into the district office to report to work, Mrs. Knechtii mumbled a few words - something about "what are you doing here", or "Oh, it's you, what are you doing here?" She the purposely tried to run into me. I continued in a bee line for the office door. No contact was made, but I did believe this act was intentional.
