April 21 2004
Dear Parents:
I am grateful to many of you for sharing your thoughts and concerns with us
regarding the pending boundary change. In response to your questions and
comments, the following revised boundaries will be implemented for K-5 students
in our district for the 2004-2005 school year:
North of the freeway:
Students residing on Red Rover Mine Road and west will attend Agua Dulce School. Students residing east of Red Rover will attend Meadowlark.
South of the freeway:
Students residing on Roger Road/42nd Street and west will attend Agua Dulce School. Students residing east of this line will attend Meadowlark.
Bootlegger:
Students residing on a[ny] street that connects with Bootlegger off of Soledad Canyon Road will attend Meadowlark.
[All] Sixth grade students will attend High Desert School.
It is my hope that these revised boundaries will create a solution that reduces concerns about the boundary change. Once again, thank you. for your comments and suggestions. It is my hope that you will find this new plan to better meet your needs and those of your children.
Sincerely Linda Wagner Chief Administrative Officer
