1-1-98 Ever wonder why groups like the outlaw Agua Dulce Town Council, the phony Acton Council, the Lillian Smith Agua Dulce Water committee, the Acton parks, and the traffic committee all want to keep everything they do secret?
The answer clearly is they are afraid to let the public see what they are doing. They like misrepresenting information to the government and claiming they are the exclusive representatives for the community. Then they go off to work in secret with committees made up only of persons they approve.
These people have a personality fetish. They believe they have been appointed, or maybe the word should be anointed, the leaders. Real leaders would share the information with the public and build a consensus. These phony leaders get in bed with Dave Vanatta of Antonovich's office and the business owners and the anti community Chambers of Commerce for their private pro-growth agenda.
Meanwhile they ignore the public and the public ignores them.
If any vote or survey is done it has to be controlled by these groups because they have to stuff the ballot box and pack the committee with their people.
