8-31-04 - Madge Rogaczewski, Thank you.
August 28th 2004 was the “ Thank You” potluck dinner for the firefighters and volunteers of the Acton Crown Fire. The potluck dinner was held at the Acton Community Club. All were welcome.
Many others join me in thanking Madge Rogaczewski for letting the Natural History Club of Acton/Agua Dulce help in our small way to say “Thank You” to HER for all the hard work it took to Organize and Coordinate not one, but two events. August 26th at the Community Club in which the forestry was on hand to give out free trees. Then on the 28th she had the potluck dinner for our Hero's .The food was plentiful and delicious. Our community out did themselves.
We had Mike Hughes who also wears many hats and pitched right in by M.C.-ing the presentation of giving out Certificates of Recognition to our firefighters and volunteers.
It goes without saying; the people who stayed behind the scenes helping were a blessing.
The Chamber of Commerce and all the other Clubs and Organizations Madge belongs to have a gem gleaming in their jewel box. “Thanks everyone.”
