8-23-08 Larry H. Layton School of Law, in Acton Plaza, announces that it's CHILDREN AND THE LAW classes will start Saturday, September 13, 2008. Classes will include instruction in juvenile justice, allocating power over children, school authority and other diverse subject matter.

Cost to enroll, including tuition and registration, is sixteen hundred and thirty two dollars ($1,632.00) for thirty (30) classroom hours. However, if the enrollee brings a copy of this article, an additional thirty (30) hours will be given without additional charge.

The classes are expected to be small and in no event will any class have over twelve (12) students.

This course should be interesting to teachers, parents, school administrators, law connected persons and even college students. Classes will be small enough for students to exchange ideas and opinions as well as ask questions. The text will be CHILDREN IN THE LEGAL SYSTEM, CASES AND MATERIALS by Davis, Scott, Wadlington and Whitebread and will be provided to each student enrolling in the class without any additional cost.
