Re: Meeting with Agua Dulce Private Town Council, Monday 09/29/03
Dear Mr. Novak, We respectfully request a copy of your Agenda, along with a sign-in sheet, of your meeting with certain representatives from the community of Agua Dulce, which is scheduled for sometime next Monday.
We were apprised of the meeting at a public meeting last week.
We were respectfully told that our organization would not be allowed to attend. Since the Civic Association is vitally interested in water concerns, and indeed, has had much correspondence in the past few months regarding illegal purveying of water out of the Aquifer, as well as allowing major recreational events with negative impacts on the Sierra Pelona Aquifer, we were chagrined to learn that we would not be able to attend this meeting. Sadly, it appears the scheduled meeting, which must be held in a most public way, has become a private meeting.
