Here is the letter on Vanguard letterhead requesting to publish the data for the community. The response NOTHING.

Dear Ms. Holt,
I still do not have a copy of the proposed EIR for Transit Mix. I have asked in writing on December 11, 1996 to be on the list. I wish to remind you we are an adjudicated newspaper covering the Acton and Agua Dulce areas, the site of the project.
I specifically asked to have the DEIR in electronic form, to place on the Internet so the effected members of the community could read it for themselves. I believe it is Transit Mixs goal to keep the information out of the publics eyes.
Various agencies and the courts have held that just providing a few copies is not sufficient notice to meet the requirements of CEQA.
Further, I am particularly interested to see the Countys posture on the Transit Mix project which is located just up stream from the Cal Mat project which was recently closed for lack of need for sand and gravel.
There are several groups in Agua Dulce that are pro-business and pro-growth, that want the project. This includes, the phony town council which stole its own election and represents no one. These groups will probably be supportive of the project or mount no effective opposition to the project.
It is Transit Mix and these groups goal to see that no one in the community knows about the impacts of the project so they cannot raise any effective protest.
