7-10-97 Lillian Smith's Water Committee submitted on July 7 a new proposal to The Californian Regional Water Quality Board CRWQB.

The real Agua Dulce Town Council has prepared an all volunteer program to protect the ground water in Agua Dulce for the water board meeting on April 7th. See Tana's presentation. The boards position was "as both groups support further testing they should work together on a joint program". See Offer to work together submitted by Tana Lampton and Howard Carlip.

The so called Water committee met again at their headquarters (the Agua Dulce Chamber of Commerce) on 4-1-97. Only six cars were there. Art Brewer (of Agua Dulce Hardware) has now joined the do nothing group. This group, after spending thousands of dollars of money collected under questionable procedures, submitted nothing to the Regional Water Quality Board. They have been aware of the deadline for six months and all they have done is to ask for a four month extension. They continue to do their favorite action - Nothing.

All of their meetings only a few persons attended;. Typically Lillian Smith, Dennis Dee, Diane Teraito, and Frank Newcomb from Acton. No reports are released on their actions - if any. We have a standing offer to publish anything they will provide to us, so you, the reader can form your own opinions. As they refuse to provide any documents to publish, it shows they do not want the public to know what they are doing. For more information

"Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything." Communist Tyrant Josef Stalin and the local Town Clowncil".

The so called Agua Dulce Town Clowncil claimed at a CIVIC meeting that they were not going to ask for a clean hands letter, but instead held a private meeting with the County where other groups such as the Civic were prohibited by the Town Clowncil from attending. See letter.

Who do these virtually self appointed "leaders" really represent, the community or the Airpark, Chamber of Commerce and other special interest groups. Demand an open election supervised by an independent party to replace these people with truly elected community leaders. Force them to adopt the Brown Act to keep all the meetings open and the Public Records act to make their secret communications public.
