Agua Dulce Airpark permit/revocation information

Patrick Green responds to claims that he and CCAD approved Turbo props. Note his opposition to the secret negotiations and the hijacking of the community groups to support Airport growth without a vote of their members.

There have been some rumblings about me and the claim that I agreed to allow Turbo Prop planes at the Airport when meeting with Aaron Clark and others. This is simply not the case. I did state at the onset that we should not be negotiating with the airport at all until they remove the tie down area and that all violations that are current were corrected.

Furthermore, I stated that we “the members of the CCAD Board that were there cannot agree to anything until it is reviewed by our membership! I am still amazed that we are, as a community, negotiating with someone (or an organization through representation) in good faith (while they continue to deceive us!) over an issue that is straight forward.

LA COUNTY NEEDS TO EXERCISE ITS FIDUCIARY RESPONSIBILITY AND ENFORCE THE PERMIT 1404 AND CLOSE THE AIRPORT. THERE ARE CLEAR VIOLATIONS THAT HAVE GONE  ON MUCH TO LONG AND A TOWN THAT IS GROWING MORE AND MORE FRACTURED TO LINE THE POCKETS OF AN ALREADY RICH MAN (and we all know this is not Barry.)

To help clear this issue up I did state when there was an impasse okay, if there are going to be turbo props make them limited to 1 for the owner (playing along with the game that Barry is the owner) limited to a wingspan of less than 49’ and strictly limit the hours that they can operate. Not before 8:00AM and not after 4:00 PM.

Notwithstanding this discussion, I stand firm that the airport’s permit should be revoked until a comprehensive plan is presented, that they have to produce including a full environmental review. traffic plans, and water shed protections.

If this is not done the airport should be CLOSED! JUST AS I STATED AT THE PUBLIC HEARING: REVOKE THE PERMIT AND CLOSE THE AIRPORT.

While I find it interesting that there is one person spreading the word that I approved turbo props (as if I have such authorizing capacity!) it is simply not the case.

Did anyone else notice at the public hearing that there were many local homeowners that spoke in opposition to the airport and in only one case were two people from the same household. Only five households spoke in favor of the airport and three had two people speaking from the same household.

The balance of those that spoke in favor were from outside our community including a resident of El Segundo, another from Victorville, and other points away.

I think it is a clear message, the people of our town are saying “NO MORE, ENOUGH!” and I stand in agreement with them!

ENTER THIS INTO YOUR PUBLIC RECORD!
