Agua Dulce Airpark filming issues

8-5-05 New filming at the airport.

Paul Novak of Supervisor Antonovich’s office notified a number of the community by e-mail that there would be a deminimus daylight shoot at the airport on Saturday, August 6, 2005.

It consists of a total of 6 people (cast & crew) that will film with a hand-held video camera a person getting out of a car and walking into the desert. The filming does not involve any aircraft or special effects and qualifies to film without a permit under Rule 3 of the EDIC.

This is hardly any different than you videotaping your family arriving at your home, and these people actually sent EDIC a letter asking for the exemption, instead of just stealing the shot.

But, if the filming grows to something else, and particularly the use of the airport or any aircraft, the EDIC will take action against the airport and the company.

But in the mean while, these 6 people filming a video should be welcomed to the community and I hope they have a great time.
