A newsletter from Quartz Hill.
A letter from the U.S.Forest Service indicating the decision having been made on the Pacific Pipeline to be constructed via the Ft. Tejon route.
A letter from the Agua Dulce Lions Club announcing the upcoming 4th of July Extravaganza and availability of booths.

Committee Reports
Planning & Coordinating Chairman Kathy Howald Reported on a meeting with representatives of Metrolink, Public Utilities Commission, and Dept. of Public Works. They will add pavement for equestrian/pedestrian crossings at Crown Valley Rd. and Aliso Cyn.
Arrastre/Moody Cyn EAR - Chairman Bill Daniels reported he was unable to consummate the planned committee meeting on Sat Mar. 16. Member Michael Joel Kelly submitted 3 copies of a draft opposition statement for consideration. Mr. Daniels indicated that he had also received a statement Gerry Williams for inclusion. The Chair queried Mr. Kelley regarding any representative affiliation he may have with the Council. Mr. Kelly responded that he does not represent the Council, nor any member of the Council for the Council. Tom Haile submitted a statement on handling of archaeological issues, and indicated that Forest Archaeologist Mike McIntyre would be submitting additional documents to the Tujunga District office by April 1.
Finance, Ways and Means Ruthann Hileman reported she had received a flyer regarding the gymkhana swap meet and will investigate the feasibility of renting a booth.

Publicity Chairman Gerry Williams reported that all materials received had been posted in the display boxes
Utilities - Nothing to Report.
Community Standards -Kathy Howald reported on proposed additional sign at California RV . Follow up to ensure compliance with Community Standards Ordinance.
Beautification Jeff Wadsworth indicated that time constraints and health problems have made it difficult for him to continue as chairman and that Chrys Hamper has indicated a willingness to chair the committee. The Chair declined to take any action pending the return of President Dick Morris .
Ms. Hamper will draft a letter in response to a citizen complaint about graffiti on wood fence north side of SR14 east of Red Rover (Ref.: Incoming Correspondence Feb. 5, 1996 general meeting )
Drainage - Nothing to Report.
Rural Town Council No Report.
Santa Clara River Steering Committee Nothing to Report.

Tom Haile moved that the council read the material received relative to the Arrastre/Moody EAR response, take a short break, and return for a vote. - No Second. No action taken.
New Business
Bill Daniels raised the question of renting a booth at the Agua Dulce 4th of July Extravaganza.. - No action taken.
The Chair called a special public meeting for Tuesday, Mar. 26 8:00 p.m. Acton Community Center, For the purpose of considering a response to the Arrastre/Moody EAR.
